Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of the website. Reading a page, following a link, or submitting a search means you accept them. If you do not agree, discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. Prince George County Criminal History is privately operated and has no government affiliation. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency. Neither the website nor its advertising partners offers a service for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or any other Fair Credit Reporting Act purpose. The resource only helps visitors locate official criminal-record channels in Prince George County and Virginia.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site is independent of every government office. It does not store official records, perform state checks, retrieve files, or submit paperwork.

Its role is to identify Prince George County and Virginia custodians, including county police, court clerks, Riverside Regional Jail, the Virginia Department of State Police CCRE, and the Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry. It may also link to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

  • Use automated scrapers, bots, or similar collection tools
  • Stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass any person
  • Interfere with performance or other visitors' access
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any system
  • Use content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
  • Violate a federal, Virginia, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked tool must not be used to threaten, stalk, intimidate, harass, or unlawfully discriminate. The rule is especially important for the Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry. Virginia's registry law, found in Title 9.1, Chapter 9, supports public safety awareness, not vigilantism or retaliation against a listed person or household.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit files, or official background checks. Our partners' tools are not offered here for FCRA decisions. You must not use site content or linked results to:

  • Determine creditworthiness or insurance pricing
  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a rental or housing application
  • Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
  • Carry out another FCRA-regulated purpose

A legally required official check must use the authorized Virginia Department of State Police process or another provider that is compliant for the particular regulated purpose.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Prince George County charge, warrant, conviction, sealing rule, or expungement statute affects a specific case. Consult a Virginia-licensed lawyer for that analysis.

6. No Warranties

All material is supplied "as is." We make no promise that:

  • Partner results will be complete, current, or correctly matched
  • Every page will remain available without interruption
  • Content will always be complete, accurate, and current
  • The service will contain no bugs, errors, or security weaknesses

Charges, court outcomes, custody entries, sealing orders, and expungements can change a record. Gaps and delays can occur. Treat no site statement as an official declaration from Prince George County, a Virginia court, or a state agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to government offices, courts, legal resources, and independent search services. We do not control the destination's availability, content, fees, or data practices. Its terms apply after you leave this website.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, branding, and code belong to Prince George County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, altered, distributed, or used to create derivative work without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from site use, including reliance on content or an outside service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, actions, demands, legal fees, and related costs caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Virginia law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Virginia. Access to government records remains subject to laws such as the Virginia Freedom of Information Act and the separate criminal-history dissemination limits in Va. Code ยง19.2-389.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these conditions. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or ended at any time, with or without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is ruled invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. The affected term will be modified only to the extent needed for enforcement.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be directed through the Contact page.
