Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so that we can respond. We keep the message within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

Our servers receive basic technical information when a page loads:

Prince George County guidance points to the actual custodians, including county police, court clerks, Riverside Regional Jail, the Virginia Department of State Police CCRE, and the Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry. Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each partner controls its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices, so review those terms before running a search.

Links may lead to Prince George County offices, Virginia court portals, state agencies, legal resources, or outside search services. Once you leave, the destination's own privacy terms govern. Review them before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may use cross-site activity to select ads. That processing occurs through their systems.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:

Code §§2.2-3700 et seq., while dissemination of state criminal-history information is separately controlled by Va. Code §19.2-389.
